Collaborative Efforts

The Mattie J.T. Stepanek Foundation proudly collaborates with individuals, with educators, and with other peace-related organizations in many ways. We support the mission and programs of many other groups and organizations that promote peace.

Some of these organizations are ones that Mattie and Jeni worked with as advocates for many years. Others are just learning about Mattie’s message today, and realizing how, together, we can move the world closer to Mattie’s belief that “Peace is Possible!”

We also work with teachers who embed a message of hope and peace in lesson plans. And we gather, review, and share many of those lessons and ‘Teacher Tips’ for other educators. Mattie’s mom, Jeni, often visits local schools or participates in online webchats with schools across the country and around the world, where students are learning about Mattie’s life, legacy, and vision of personal and world peace. The Foundation is currently developing and Peace Certification program for schools and youth groups, based on lessons learned, expressed needs, and feedback from teachers and youth groups.

The Mattie J.T. Stepanek Foundation is always appreciative of efforts by individuals, organizations, businesses, and schools to share Mattie’s message, and in doing so, support the mission of our Foundation.

If you would like to collaborate with Mattie’s Foundation, please contact us by email or through our Contact Us page. We would be happy to add you to our website Collaborators page, and hope that you will share our peace efforts through your website as well. Together, we can “Make Peace the News.”
