INFORMATION

Mattie’s Peace Tree 2014
celebrates peace ornaments and displays
from global citizens who participated in
our annual Mattie’s Peace Tree activity!

-

We invited global neighbors to participate
in this free, fun, & simple peace activity:

-

1. Reflect on the theme for the year –
(Peace is possible… choose peace!

-

2. Respond to the theme with a peace expression
(art, craft, words, doodle, photo of a person/place…)

-

3. Reach out with the theme by
displaying the peace expression ornament(s)
in homes, yards, schools, offices, or communities - AND…
-
by sharing a PHOTO of the peace expression
with Mattie’s Foundation
(HeartsongBooks@gmail.com)

—> we display the photo in our annual peace tree ornament album,
and we process it into an “ornament” for the global tree!

Submissions included on the tree display
were received  by the NOVEMBER 30 DEADLINE
(Nov 15 for prize eligibility).
We will post additional submissions received
after the deadline in our Gallery on this page.
