Peace Seeker Teens & Peace Posts
“Make peace an attitude in thought, word, and action — want it!” — Mattie J.T. Stepanek (From Mattie’s “Three Choices for Peace.”)
Peace Seeker Teens develop attitudes of peace — they want peace. Mattie believed that “Peace should matter in all times, and for all people.” He wrote, “We need to choose to make peace something that matters, not just in the ‘good’ times, but in the tough times, too.” This does not mean that challenges do not arise. It simply means that peace matters, even during challenges, and that peaceful thoughts and words and actions are chosen even amid challenges. This choice in the Peace Journey involves considering peace as a way of thinking and reflecting daily realities.
