The recent and current days have been abundant with challenges… but they have also been abundant with community, and family, and the things that remind me of the wonderful worthiness of life—even amid challenges…
Thank you Jeanne Meyers and The MY HERO Project for celebrating the Heartsongs of our creative and expressive neighbors near and far…
#Huzzah for a nifty breakfast gathering with dear friend Jennifer Feeney Petrich and her (wow! so grown up!) kiddos, for filled-with-chatting and laughter Main Street lunch connections with folks over at the Soulfull Cafe, and for World of Beer “rewards points” that provided me a freebie Happy Hour toast…
And woohoo for in-person middle school concerts once again, after so many Covid-paused semesters with Zoom-squared performances… and mega-woohoo that we could pick back up on our “post concert—must have ice cream”tradition! And Leah-B’deah Dobbins—you totally rocked that clarinet tonight!
Life is a journey… with downs, and ups, and downs again, and ups again, and again and again and again… having community and connections can’t always change realities, but such supports can change how we perceive and move through realities—which can be sacred blessings in some critical moment, or along some up-and-down journey.
