PharmaCentra hosted a Town Hall with Mama Peace (Jeni Stepanek) followed by the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Foundation’s first #Toast2Peace of 2021 with Guest Toastmaster Sanah Jivani!
6:00 p.m. Town Hall with Mama Peace & Pharmacentra
According to Founder and CEO Dan Berman, “PharmaCentra’s Prime Directive is ‘Every Interaction is a Positive Interaction’. This holds true whether employees are interacting with a customer through our multi-channel contact center services or with a co-worker. In these current, often chaotic times, PharmaCentra is doubling down on this mantra by engaging our teams to put more conscious thought into how they interact throughout the communities in which they live.”
Since 2019, PharmaCentra VP of Human Resources and Chief Communications Officer Kim Christmas has been a valued member of the Sumter County #PeaceTeam for the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Foundation, connecting them to several other local and international partners. She has also volunteered at Foundation events, including the 2020 “Cultivating a Culture of Peace” Peace Day on October 3, 2020. She states, “By PharmaCentra working to become Peace Certified through the Foundation, we are planning to find innovative ways to provide our employees with the information and tools to help make peace possible in their homes, workplace, and community. We want to role model how incorporating Pathways2Peace into our company will help our employees to be happier, healthier, and more productive in all aspects of their lives. We are thrilled to introduce Mama Peace to them during this Town Hall event, and we invite the public to attend as well. Being part of the effort to cultivate peace is a true ‘win-win’ for us all.”
7:00 p.m. #Toast2Peace with Sanah Jivani

Now, her non-profit organization hosts projects in 150 schools and 28 countries worldwide. The biggest project hosted by her non-profit is the International Day of Self Love. She has reached over 50,000 students through speaking engagements and raised over $50,000 in fundraising.
Outside of her work with her non-profit, she has been selected as one of thirty We Are Family Foundation’s Global Teen Leaders, The G(irls)20 United States Delegate, an American Association of University Women Student Advisory Council Member, A Born This Way Foundation Channel Kindness Reporter, an America’s Promise Alliance Board of Trustee Member, a Pearson student Advisor, a State Farm Youth Advisory Board Member, a DoSomething and College Board Youth Advisory Council Member, a 2016-2017 Character Counts Person of Character, a Lingua Franca Extraordinary woman, and one of the Her Campus 22 under 22 most inspiring college women. Internationally, she served as a social and emotional learning educator in Cape Town, South Africa. She hopes that her extensive career and non-profit experience can someday be used to change the world, creating an International Day of Self Love that is present on every calendar, and celebrated globally. In her free time, Sanah enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, trying new cuisines, writing (particularly poetry and personal columns), and going on adventures!
